Through Bible reading, prayer, faithful church attendance, and fellowship with other believers, new Christians can develop spiritual strength and biblical understanding. Our desire is to help you grow in your faith and discover God’s purpose for your life.
Tuesday Night Home Bible Studies in Reno and Sparks
Our Home Bible Studies bring Christians together every Tuesday evening in homes throughout the Reno and Sparks area. These small-group gatherings provide a welcoming setting to study Scripture, ask questions, and encourage one another. Based on the example of believers gathering together in Acts 2:46, our Bible studies help people build friendships while growing in their understanding of God’s Word.
A Place to Ask Questions About the Bible
If you are new to Christianity, you may have questions about salvation, prayer, baptism, or how to live for Jesus Christ. Our Bible studies offer opportunities to discuss Scripture and learn alongside other believers. You do not need to know everything about the Bible to attend. Come with a willingness to learn, grow, and discover what God’s Word teaches.
Building Christian Friendships and Fellowship
Growing spiritually is easier when you are surrounded by people who encourage you to follow Jesus. Through Home Bible Studies and church fellowship, new believers can develop meaningful relationships, receive encouragement, and learn from Christians who have walked with God through different seasons of life. We believe the local church is an important part of every believer’s spiritual growth.
Learning to Live as a Disciple of Jesus
Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples and teach others to obey His Word (Matthew 28:19–20). At The Potter’s House Reno, we encourage new believers to develop biblical convictions, practice daily prayer, share their faith, and become involved in the work of the church. Our goal is not simply to help people attend services, but to help them become committed followers of Jesus Christ.
